Who I am/what I do
I work as a facilitator and business coach.
Some call what I do the "soft" skills... or the "touchy feely" stuff. I prefer to think I can combine a certain amount of business logic with an appreciation of the ability of humans to surprise and amaze us. My work ranges from one-to-one coaching through small teams to conferences of 300 plus participants.
I've worked in the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia and North America and clients have included
Collaborations
I'm a founder member of the Applied Improvisation Network and the Medinge Group.
With my friend James Cherkoff, I run Open Sauce Live workshops for marketers getting to grips with the power of networks. James and I are the authors of Co-Creation Rules.
I'm a partner in developing and delivering the training programme Facilitating with Confidence.
Earlier days
I started my career working as researcher/speechwriter to Lord (Alan) Sainsbury. After that I became a copywriter and then a planner in advertising before starting my own marketing firm in 1988.
Over the last few years, I've done extensive training in psychotherapy and other forms of personal development. This has coincided with my increasing interest in the human side of business and how we can create richer relationships in our working lives.
