Johnnie Moore's fullest feed - a quick How To guide.

How I do a full RSS feed, including comments and trackbacks.  This works for me, I hope it works for you but your mileage may vary!

In Movable Type, you need to go to Templates, specifically the Index Templates section.

In there, click the link "Create new index template"

Give the template a name, eg "Fullfeed"

Name the output file something like "fullfeed.xml"  (it should end in xml and not be the same as any existing template)

Paste the text below the asterisks into the Template Body pane, and save.

Make sure the checkbox "Rebuild this template automatically when rebuilding index templates" is selected

Click the rebuild button for this template.

That should create a feed with the name you specified.

(This can also work in Typepad, if you have the Pro account)
